Tournament Run Down

WNY Gamers Club will be holding a TF2 Tournament during LPE XI to mark the 5th anniversary of WNY Gamers Club website and forums. This is what alot of people have been asking and waiting for so here it is:

COD4 Tournament - 4pm start time on 10/11/08 at the LPE

Rules (so far):
This Tournament requires that you be prepaid for LPE v11 no later then 10/09/08. This also requires that you have the $5 tournament entry fee and be signed in for the tournament before 3:00pm (Tournament will start at 4:00pm) the day of the event. This tournament will be a 5 vs 5 tournament (stock maps) with each player paying a $5 entrance fee and the total pot going to the winning team. Now for the twist, if you do not have a 5 person team it will not an issue as the top 5 players from each round will be the ones moving on to the next round. So you do have a team? Well you will be at an advantage, as you will be able to pick your team mates for the first round. This tournament is open to all that attend including staff (they still have to pay the $5) and will be run on two fully dedicated servers.

More info to be posted soon....

There will also be Halo 3 and a Halo 2 tournament for the 360!!

Games to be tentatively played by popular demand:

We will have a Teamspeak server for team games

Dedicated Servers also welcome, even though we will have plenty of dedicated servers setup,
please email us if you would like to bring a dedicated server for your group or clan and we will accommodate you.
Nothing like a little advertising for your group or clan to have a fast dedicated server to recruit or advertise from.
All servers will be connected to a GBe port right to the network backbone for the fastest game play possible and you will be allowed full access and control of your server throughout the event.
